It’s a complex web where predicting every component’s reactions remains challenging, making it inherently adaptive.

In such complex scenarios, the search for definitive solutions often requires the fusion of various approaches and strategies. Additionally, when multiple stakeholders with diverse perspectives are involved, unilateral decision-making becomes challenging.

A volatile world is one where change can occur rapidly and unpredictably due to unexpected ‘system shocks.’ Take the recent example of the Covid-19 pandemic. 

Leadership, in this context, is a process that entails setting a direction, defining common goals, and influencing individuals to achieve these objectives. It’s also about nurturing an environment where individuals learn collectively and individually to reach these goals.

The practice of leadership can take on various forms based on the context and the leader’s style. It’s imperative to underscore the need for aligning leadership with the demands of the situation.
